Wyndham Rewards Is Ending Its Vacasa Partnership
Flexibility in how you use your points can be a key aspect of a loyalty program. For Wyndham Rewards members, an often overlooked partnership has been Vacasa. Since 2021, members have been able to redeem Wyndham Rewards points for as low as 15,000 points a night at vacation rental properties across its network of homes and apartments. Sadly, Wyndham announced that this partnership is ending on November 30, 2025. Here are all the details.
Why are Wyndham and Vacasa breaking up?
Vacasa is a separate business from Wyndham, so we often see these types of loyalty partnerships come and go. For example, World of Hyatt was partnered with MGM Rewards for ten beautiful years, until the casino company signed with Marriott. In this case, Vacasa was purchased by Casago in May of this year. Likely, new management didn't see value in partnering with Wyndham going forward.

When is the Vacasa partnership ending?
If you've used Vacasa in the past through Wyndham Rewards, you'll have to act fast before the partnership ends. You'll be able to use your points for new reservations through November 30, 2025. New reservations must check out by January 31, 2026.
If you've already made a Vacasa reservation with your Wyndham points, the brands will honor all existing reservations. To make changes to a reservation, you can do so through November 30, 2025. If modifying stay dates, checkout must occur before February 1, 2026. Note, you won't be able to make any changes to your reservation beginning December 1, 2025.
Bookings may be cancelled at any time as the partnership unwinds.
Wyndham Vacasa Partnership Ending: ToP Thoughts
It's always negative news when there are fewer ways to use your points and miles. For those who enjoyed a little extra space on their vacations, this news probably stings. With nights priced as low as 15,000 points, it was certainly an economical way to travel. If you're still interested in booking a Vacasa for the 2025 holiday season, you have until November 30, 2025, to do so. And if you've already redeemed points for a Vacasa trip, your booking will be honored, but you won't be able to make any future changes after the partnership end date.
