US Bank Business Cards

US Bank is bringing the heat! There is no doubt that they are usually like the 5th wheel in people's minds when looking for a new credit card option. Maybe they finally realized that and decided to up their game with three increased offers. Offers that are actually the best we have seen for these US Bank Business cards. While these cards earn cash back, instead of miles or points, they can still be useful for travel. Everyone has costs that points can't cover while traveling after all, don't they? It also gives you a potential break from other banks, and they shouldn't hurt your 5/24 count.

US Bank Leverage Card

First up on the all time high US Bank business cards offers is the US Bank Leverage card. This card was rolled out a few years ago with a pretty juicy welcome offer, and it just got better!

  • Earn $900 when you spend $7,500 within the first 120 days
  • $0 introductory annual fee the first year, then $95 per year after that
Card Earning Structure

Here is the earning structure for the US Bank Leverage card:

  • 5% back on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked directly in the Travel Rewards Center.
  • 2% back on eligible purchases made in your top two spend categories each month automatically (link to categories)
  • 1% back on every other eligible purchase

While the categories are not super sexy, they come with no annual fee in the first year and a $900 welcome offer.

US Bank Business Cards

US Bank Business Altitude Connect

The next card that has an increased offer is the US Bank Business Altitude Connect card. I believe that this is the newest of the three business cards discussed in this article. It also offers the most long term value for some because of the card's earning structure. Here are the welcome offer details:

  • Earn 75,000 points (worth $750) after spending $6,000 within the first 180 days
  • $0 introductory annual fee the first year, then $95 per year after that

It is interesting that you get 6 months for this welcome offer versus only 4 months for the Leverage and Triple Cash business cards. That could play a role for some on which one to choose.

Card Earning Structure

Here is the earning structure for the US Bank Business Altitude Connect:

  • 5x back on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked directly in the Travel Rewards Center.
  • 4x on travel, gas and EV charging stations on the first $150,000 in combined annual spend.
  • 2x on dining, takeout, restaurant delivery and cell service providers.
  • 1x back on every other eligible purchase

An interesting perk of the card is you can get a $25 statement credit after every three consecutive monthly taxi or rideshare trips. There doesn't seem to be a minimum spend each month for this credit. It just requires one purchase per month to trigger it. I wonder if loading your account with funds would work?

The 4x (or 4%) on travel, gas and EV charging stations puts it towards the ToP of those categories. The Amex Business Gold offers a better 4x option since it earns points, but it comes with a larger annual fee too. The other popular option in the category is the Wyndham Earner Business card.

US Bank Triple Cash

The last of these all time high increased offers is the one for the US Bank Triple Cash card. This card has been around for a bit now and I have actually signed up for it twice over the years. Here are the welcome offer details:

  • Earn $600 when you spend $4,500 within the first 150 days
  • The card has no annual fee
Card Earning Structure

Here is the earning structure for the US Bank Triple Cash card:

  • 5% back on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked directly in the Travel Rewards Center.
  • 3% back on
    • EV charging stations
    • Office supply stores
    • Cell phone service providers
    • Restaurants.
  • 1% back on every other eligible purchase

Not a bet earning structure for a no annual fee cash back card. The lower spending threshold may be enticing to some. Although, the Business Altitude Connect gives you a longer timeline so it is actually a little bit less per month in spend. I guess it depends which angle of looking at it is more important for you.

US Bank Business Cards Increased Offers: ToP Thoughts

All of these offers are worth your consideration. Especially since they won't harm your 5/24 count, should that be an important part of your journey right now at least. My wife and I each grabbed the Altitude Connect business card. We each have the Leverage already from our applications last year and I like to have access to some more 4x earning in categories of need. As I said above, we have also had the Triple Cash a few times now too.

Let me know if you are planning on grabbing one of these US Bank business cards with increased offers over in the ToP Facebook Group.
