ToP Roundup

In this series I will share articles I found interesting from all over the web. These will be articles about miles, points, travel, finance and everything in-between. Hopefully this ToP Roundup series will give you some interesting tidbits and new information you may have missed during the week. If you see anything out there that you think others may find of interest please feel free to share it with me at Mark@travel-on-points.com.

Visa, Mastercard reach $30 billion settlement over credit card fees – Reuters

I wonder if this will kill off the push for more radical changes that put our rewards in jeopardy. We could see some diminished rates overall, but hopefully this keeps us mostly whole. I doubt we will see any of these savings as consumers, which makes the whole thing a money grab (shocker, I know).

Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun to step down amid 737 Max troubles – Yahoo Finance

Hopefully they can find someone that can settle them down and get them back to making a quality product.

Barclays and Breeze Airways Unveil the Breeze Easy Visa Signature Card, Plus New Loyalty Program and Fare Option – Danny the Deal Guru

While this card is a pass, it is nice to see the expansion of Breeze Airways continue. It is always good for us consumers to have more competition and this card should help with their profitability and sustainability.
