Select cardholders are being targeted for a new Citi Travel offer for $75 in savings on hotel bookings. While we regularly list reasons not to use travel portals, sometimes card incentives like this can make it worth it. As always, just pay your due diligence and follow-up with the hotel to ensure everything with your booking matches up correctly. Let's take a look at how to maximize the new Citi Travel offer. Targeted Citi Offer
If you're targeted for the new Citi Travel offer, a banner will appear when you click on the Citi Travel portal or “Rewards & Offers” and then “Offers for You” on the desktop website. You can also locate them in the app by clicking on “Book Travel” or “Offers.” It may also appear in your merchant offers. Here are the key details:
- Enjoy $75 off a one-time hotel stay of $400 or more when booked through Citi Travel.
- There may be other versions floating around.
- The promotion will be automatically applied at the time of booking.

Terms & Conditions
Note these terms & conditions of the new Citi Travel offer:
- Valid for one hotel booking made between July 7, 2026, at 6 am ET and Aug. 7, 2026, at 11:59 pm ET.
- No minimum hotel nights required.
- Stays must be prepaid through Citi Travel (powered by Rocket Travel by Agoda) or 833-737-1288.
- This offer is non-transferable and can only be used by the recipient of the offer.
- Reservations must be made by the primary cardmember but can be in the name of either the primary cardmember or another person.
- Can not be applied to existing bookings made before 7/7/2026.
- This is a one-time offer. If the reservation is canceled, it will not be available to use again.
Stacking Possibilities
Previous Citi Travel offers like this one could be paired with credits already built into some Citi cards, and I don't see any terms preventing that type of usage with this one. So if you have the Citi Strata Premier℠, it's worth trying to stack it with the annual $100 off of a $500+ single hotel stay. If you've got the Citi Strata Elite℠, try it with the $300 hotel credit for a stay of two nights or more. Both of these benefits require Citi Travel portal bookings to use, anyway. The cards' included credits and this offer both apply at checkout. See below for a test booking I ran with a previous $50 off $300 offer. New Citi Travel Offer: ToP Thoughts
I really like that there's a long window to use this offer. It's nice to have a whole month to figure out if/how to use it. A $75 discount isn't super significant on its own and likely wouldn't make it worth it to use the portal. But it gets much better if you haven't used your annual credit(s) yet and are able to stack it with the offer. If you have an offer on the premium card, for example, you can save up to nearly 19% on your booking from this deal alone, plus take advantage of your $300 credit.
