SkyMiles flash sales like this are often one of the best ways to book Delta flights for a fraction of the miles they'd typically cost. If you have a co-branded Delta SkyMiles credit card, it's an even better deal as you'll get a 15% discount on award bookings with Delta's TakeOff 15 benefit.
With this Delta SkyMiles flash sale, members can book discounted award flights to cities throughout Europe from Amsterdam (AMS) and London (LHR) to Milan (MXP) and even Marrakesh for travel this winter. Delta is advertising this as a “shoulder season” sale, which typically refers to the transitional period between the high and low seasons in Europe. We're seeing these low rates for travel from September through November, depending on the destination. It may take some trial and error to find the best rates before they expire later today.

And this includes travel during Oktoberfest!
Even longer flights from the West Coast can be found for 40,000 SkyMiles roundtrip—or less if you have a Delta card.

How To Book This Delta SkyMiles Flash Sale
To find these discounted Delta SkyMiles flash sale flights, you can search from Delta's dedicated flash sale page or conduct a regular award search on Delta's website. To begin, enter your home airport and desired destination. Be sure to select “Shop with Miles” and “My dates are flexible” to pull up a calendar of available dates.
Toggle over to the “Price Calendar” tab. The lowest rates will be in green. Use the arrows on either side of the page to see more dates. Once you zero in on your desired dates, you'll be taken to another screen to choose your specific flights.
If you have an eligible Delta credit card, you'll see the TakeOff 15 discount already reflected in the price. The lowest rates you'll see will be for Delta Main Basic, which is what Delta now calls its basic economy tickets.
Upgrade to Main Classic for the ability to select your seat in advance and cancel your flight for a full refund of your SkyMiles and any taxes and fees.
