Citi Spending Offer

My wife received a new Citi spending offer on her Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select card for 5x miles. The offer has a maximum bonus of 2,500 miles. Usually when one person gets these offers they go out in bunches across multiple cards. They can be for different categories too, so it you get something different let me know what it is over in the ToP Facebook Group and I'll add your offer in.

Offer Details

This offer came via standard mail postage in an envelope. Here are the details for my wife's Citi spending offer:

  • Earn 5 AAdantage miles per $1 spent, up to 2,500 AAdvantage bonus miles through 5/31/24
  • The bonus earning is on eligible online purchases
    • Offer excludes gas stations, restaurants and eligible American Airlines purchases earning double points.

The bonus is actually 4 miles per dollar, since you always earn the standard 1x on non bonus purchases. That means the spending is good for up to $625 by May 31st.

5x Earning: ToP Thoughts

We'll take some easy points with this Citi spending offer. I wish it was a bit more defined on the category instead of only eligible online purchases. Especially since we won't know for sure what works until the points post, or the don't. Remember to let me know if you see a different offer for one of your cards in the ToP Facebook Group.
