Bilt Rewards Milestone Rewards
Bilt Rewards has been making moves over the last few years. They have completely revamped their rewards program once already, added massive transfer bonuses and now they are switching things up once again. This time around they are adding Bilt Rewards milestone rewards. If that name sounds familiar, it is because it is kind of the same term that World of Hyatt uses. The system is very similar too. While the name may not be super creative, at least it should feel familiar and be able to easily follow along with it. I guess Bilt thought, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Just like with the Hyatt program the Bilt Rewards milestone rewards are perks that you trigger at certain intervals along the way on your status journey. With World of Hyatt those are unlocked via elite night credits. With Bilt Rewards, they are unlocked at different points earning levels. The milestone rewards are triggered with each level of Bilt Rewards status.
Here are the perks you get at each level (you need to activate before using):

How To Locate The Milestone Rewards

Bilt Status: ToP Thoughts
I know quite a few people, myself included, have been hoping that Bilt Rewards would add a gas or grocery category to the Bilt Mastercard. The Bilt Rewards milestone rewards gain us access to this very thing. Well, kind of. While it is cool to see them as an option, capping the spend at $500 for most tiers and $750 at the highest tier falls a bit flat for me. If you ended up hitting every milestone perk possible that would only trigger offers worth $3,250 in spend. That is simply far too low.
Even though I think the gas and grocery spend are the best perk, you may not care about that. The Lyft 10x earning looks enticing at first glance. The problem is that it runs into even more issues than the gas and grocery offer with only a $25 in spending cap. That isn't even the cost of one ride these days, much less three. I have never looked at the Bilt Collection but the $75 towards something in there may be useful.
I think the Bilt Rewards milestone rewards are a step in the right direction. They do fall a bit flat for me with these super low caps though. Bilt has been nimble when receiving feedback over the years, so hopefully this is something they correct over time. Double the spending caps for these offers, and make the Lyft earning at least $25 per ride for 3 rides, would be the sweet spot in my opinion.
