Travel on Points 5th Anniversary

It's hard to believe, but Travel on Point(s) debuted five years ago this month. Way back when, otherwise known as Pre-COVID, an idea became reality and ToP was launched. As we celebrate the Travel on Point(s) 5th Anniversary, we have lots of deals for everyone. Check back daily for a new deal.

History of ToP

While in the planning stages, ToP was envisioned as a small blog where Sarah & I could share our travel tips, and ways to travel the world with points and miles, with our friends and family. By the time we decided to launch ToP, we also wanted to include a Facebook group. After quickly discussing the idea with our neighbors (and travel buddies) Jen & Dave, we launched the group and blog. That momentous day was August 11, 2019.

It was very slow going at first. We invited anyone and everyone to come join us. Our numbers crept up and the ToP team, which expanded on launch to include both Shira and Brian, celebrated each and every 100 member milestone. By February 2020, we had grown to a couple thousand members and we co-hosted a meetup in New Orleans. We'd made it Big Time in the Big Easy.

Once COVID hit, the group never slowed down. The team expanded to 12, we hired Mark as our full-time Editor-in-Chief on the blog, Sarah & I joined the ranks of full-time ToP staff, and we rocketed past 100,000 members in March 2024. The future is bright for ToP and we are super excited in remembering our history, while looking to the next 5 years and beyond. As we reminisce on these last 5 years, its time to announce our Travel on Points 5th Anniversary deals.
