- You must be a member of the Royal Jordanian Royal Club frequent flyer program to apply for a status match. It's free to join.
- For airline status, you'll be matched into the equivalent tier of Royal Club status, either Silver Jay (Oneworld Ruby) or Gold Sparrow (Oneworld Sapphire). For hotel status, only a Silver Jay status match is available.
- There is an application fee. It costs $49 to apply for Silver Jay status, and $149 for Gold Sparrow.
- You must have a government issued ID from one of the following countries to be eligible for this status match promo:
- Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Netherlands, Oman, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Turkey, UAE, UK and USA.
- The application should take less than a minute, but it could take up to three days to learn whether or not you've been approved.
- Once you're approved, your Royal Club (and Oneworld status) will be valid for 12 months, after which you'll need to re-qualify under the program rules to keep your status.
- If you're approved, you will not be eligible for any future status matches through Royal Jordanian.
