American Airlines Award Availability to Hawaii

We spotted lots of American Airlines award availability to Hawaii in business class for April 2024. The best option is between Dallas (DFW) and Maui, Hawaii (OGG), where you'll have lie-flat seats. There is also plenty of availability between Los Angeles (LAX) and OGG. There are lots of seats available both ways.

American Airlines Business Class Availability Details

American typically flies a 777 between DFW and OGG, meaning you'll get actual lie-flat seats in business class. Out of LAX you will fly a narrowbody aircraft, meaning you will not have lie-flat seats. American is the best website to search for availability, as you can see from the screenshots below.

In addition to redeeming American AAdvantage miles, you can redeem via oneworld partners such as British Airways and Qantas. Here are the costs for these more viable options (all one-way):

American Airlines: 50,000 miles + $5.60
Alaska: 40,000 miles + $19
British Airways: 62,500 miles + $5.60 (38,750 miles out of LAX)
Qantas: 68,400 miles + $17

You can check out which points currencies transfer to each of these through our ToP transfer partner tool.
