JetBlue and Hawaiian Ending Partnership
JetBlue announced this week that its longstanding partnership with Hawaiian Airlines will officially come to an end later this year. Since 2012, the two airlines have had a codeshare agreement that allowed travelers to earn and redeem JetBlue points on Hawaiian flights and vice versa.
JetBlue and Hawaiian's partnership isn't ending for several more months, so travelers still have time to take advantage of the reciprocal benefits. You'll still be able to book Hawaiian flights with JetBlue TrueBlue points — and earn TrueBlue points on Hawaiian flights —through September 30, 2025. Travel must be completed by March 31, 2026. That's also the last date you can submit requests to retroactively earn TrueBlue points on Hawaiian flights.
The news of JetBlue and Hawaiian ending their partnership is hardly surprising given Hawaiian's recent merger with Alaska Airlines. As the two get closer to launching a combined loyalty program Hawaiian has been slowing winding down its airline partnerships. As of June 30, Hawaiian members can no longer redeem or earn miles on JetBlue or any of the following airlines:
- Virgin Australia
- Virgin Atlantic
- China Airlines
- Korean Air
- Japan Airlines.
