ToP Roundup
In this series I will share articles I found interesting from all over the web. These will be articles about miles, points, travel, finance and everything in-between. Hopefully this ToP Roundup series will give you some interesting tidbits and new information you may have missed during the week. If you see anything out there that you think others may find of interest please feel free to share it with me at Mark@travel-on-points.com.
Google Search Referrer Headers Class Action Settlement – Doctor of Credit
Doubt it ends up being $7 per person with how many are eligible but probably worth filling it out since it only takes a few minutes.
Mexican resort where 2 Californians died ignored gas leak problems, employees say – Los Angeles Times
This story is shocking, sad, upsetting and so many other words I can't type. I have no idea why the hotel management would be so neglectful to their guests. A gas leak is serious business and you turn off detectors instead of fixing the problem? I hope the people in charge go to jail, this is so disheartening.
Titanic tourist submersible goes missing with search under way – BBC News
This seems like such a unique and interesting thing for people to do and I probably would have been all in had I had the money to do such a thing. But the more details you see on it the crazier it seems. Not being able to get out of the sub without crew assistance on the outside is pretty scary. Hopefully they find the sub soon and everyone gets out okay.
