ToP Roundup

In this series I will share articles I found interesting from all over the web. These will be articles about miles, points, travel, finance and everything in-between. Hopefully this ToP Roundup series will give you some interesting tidbits and new information you may have missed during the week. If you see anything out there that you think others may find of interest please feel free to share it with me at Mark@travel-on-points.com.

Hyatt Acquires Me And All Hotels Brand From Lindner – One Mile at a Time

An interesting development. While the me and all hotels brand is already a partner of Hyatt, it will not become their own brand. This looks to be a way they can speed up their European expansion by focusing on a conversion brand. This also adds a new brand explorer option for us!

Choice Privileges award nights no longer top out at 35,000 points per night – TPG

This is sad to see. I think Choice Privileges is the most underrated hotel program, especially with ThankYou Points, but this change will impact us negatively. It opens the brand up more to dynamic pricing. If they had removed their stupid timeline rules for redeeming points then I maybe could have swallowed it.

Amazon Discover Promo, $20 Discount When You Add Card to Wallet – Danny the Deal Guru

Another chance at some free Amazon money! Hopefully many of you are targeted (link to check in the article).
