I should note that with Rakuten you will not receive the points until the next quarterly release, even if they show as posted on your account. I did not see any type of minimum time frame for the investment in the terms, but double check them yourself too.

Maximizing This Offer
It looks like USDC has worked in the past per DoC comments, which is a cash like entity and will be less risky than other crypto options. There have also been reports of issues with the offer tracking when it came around, but Rakuten was fairly easy to work with on the claim per reports.
You may also get a new member Coinbase wheel spin over the next few days that could make you a little bit more money as well.
Pairing Up With A Rakuten Bonus
If you don't already have a Rakuten account then you can use our referral to get a welcome bonus for that too. I am not sure if this offer will trigger the terms where you need to spend $30 to earn the $30 bonus. On the other hand, if you have a Membership Rewards earning card you can set it up to earn points instead too.

Rakuten Coinbase Offer: ToP Thoughts
The biggest problem with this offer is probably that it requires you to not have a Coinbase account already. I think most active Crypto traders likely already do. I have had a Coinbase account for many years now, and I have never had any real issues with it. If I could I would jump on this offer and hope to get $50, or 5,000 points, for hopefully a small cost out of pocket. If you want to look at it as a long term investment that you could at a big discount instead, you could do that as well.
