New Card Amex Offers

A unique thing that American Express has done at times is roll out Amex Offers for new card holders. Sometimes it is on specific cards, like the Amex Gold new card offers, but other times they are more wide open. That is the case for these new card Amex Offers for Grubhub and Exxon Mobil. The wife and I saw them on both of our new Amex Hilton Surpass cards.

Offer Details

Here are the details for both of these new card Amex Offers:

Grubhub Amex Offer
- Earn 10% back as a statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to make purchases online at grubhub.com or on the Grubhub mobile app by 6/8/2025.
- Limit of $20 back in total statement credits.
Exxon Mobil Amex Offer
- Earn 10% back as a statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to make purchases of automotive fuel at Exxon and Mobil stations by 6/8/2025.
- Limit of $20 back in total statement credits.
- Valid only on purchases paid for at the pump or through the Exxon Mobil Rewards+™ app.

Both of those should be fairly easy to hit if you use food delivery apps or have an Exxon Mobil in your area.

Here are some notable terms for these new card Amex Offers

Grubhub Amex Offer
- Offer valid online only at US website Grubhub.com, grubhub.com/plus, Seamless.com, seamless.com/plus, or through the Grubhub or Seamless mobile app.
- Excludes gift cards and bulk corporate purchases.
- Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
- Offer only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant.
- Not valid on purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries.
Exxon Mobil Amex Offer
- Offer valid for automotive fuel purchases made at the pump or through the Exxon Mobil Rewards+™ app at participating Exxon and Mobil stations in the US. In order to purchase through the Exxon Mobil Rewards+™ app, you must first load your Card to the app using a compatible device.
- Excludes gift cards, convenience stores, carwashes, garage/mechanic services, purchases made with Alexa, and all other purchases.
- Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.

New Card Amex Offers: ToP Thoughts

If you have signed up for an American Express card recently then you will want to check for these offers. They are pretty useful offers in areas that many people use. Getting 10% back on things we already spend money on anyway is always a win in my book. If you get them on a card that already offers a credit on such purchases (hi Amex Gold) then even better!
