Final Thoughts
There are lots of great options for purchasing gas (and things sold inside “gas” stations, even if it doesn’t have fuel pumps out front). However, for most folks, it does not make sense to open ANY credit card to maximize gas purchases. The annual spend just doesn’t justify a credit pull or another annual fee. Rather, you should decide which of your next cards is a good card for fuel purchases, in addition to other reasons for signing up for that card.
