Marriott Timeshare Offer

There is a new Marriott timeshare offer that I was emailed about and wanted to share with you. This one requires you to actually visit a property, versus their online offer that pops up sometimes. It appears this is targeted, since it has a invitation number, but it may be worth calling and trying for it anyway. If you do, be sure to let us know how it goes over in the ToP Facebook Group.

  • $999 per stay

Each one gives you 12 months to complete the travel from the time of accepting the package. It requires a $199 deposit at time of calling, which is the total price for all except for the Hawaii option. The balance is due when the reservation is made.

Eligibility Requirements & Terms

Here are the requirements for this Marriott timeshare presentation offer:

• Must be a U.S. resident with an annual household income of $100,000 or more.
• The following are not eligible for this offer:
  • Participants in a promotion within the past year for the following programs:
    • Marriott Vacation Club^®
    • Sheraton^® Vacation Club
    • Westin^® Vacation Club
  • Anyone with an active vacation package
  • Employees and immediate family of Sponsor (Marriott Ownership Resorts) or its affiliated companies
• Residents of AL, HI, ID, ME, MO, OH, WA, and WV are also not eligible.
• Attendance at the sales presentation, lasting approximately 90 minutes, is required.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Once your reservation is confirmed, you have 1 complimentary reschedule within 3 days of booking your travel dates. You may request changes up to 30 days prior to check-in date with a $75 nonrefundable change fee. Rescheduling is not allowed within 30 days of check-in date. For residents of MI, MN, ND, NM, and TX, cancellations must be made in writing within 15 calendar days of purchase, or package is nonrefundable. Value Of The Marriott Timeshare Presentation Offer

I would value the 10,000 points at around $65-$70, so above the $50 Marriott gift card. If you prefer getting the sure thing, and not potentially having to chase down points, I could see taking the gift card though. I would likely roll the dice with the points and just expect to have to send a follow up email or two.

The Hawaii package will probably offer the most value with the way prices can be there. It would have been nice if it was a one bedroom villa instead of a studio for that one though. The San Diego property seems to give you the most space in that respect. The Las Vegas option could be pretty valuable too, depending on what is going on in Vegas the week you visit. A lot of this will depend on your desired travel dates, so be sure to price check them before calling to see the potential value you can get.

ToP Thoughts

While this isn't the slam dunk offer like the 150K Hilton timeshare offer a year or so ago, it can still offer you a seriously discounted vacation. Hopefully you can get out in under 20 minutes like we did last time too! Whether or not this makes sense for you will depend on your upcoming travel plans, and how willing your significant other is too.
