Change Your Southwest Companion Pass Flyer Online

Great news, Southwest has fought through their 1980's tech and made an improvement to their very popular Companion Pass program. You can now change your Southwest Companion pass flyer online! No more needing to call into Southwest to make a change to your designated companion. They even have the tracker of how many companion changes you have left for the year. As a reminder, you get 3 changes each year.

Update 10/7/24: Issues When Adding A Companion Online

ToP Facebook member Cheryl alerted us to an issue with the new online process for changing a Southwest Companion Pass. It appears there is no spot to add a Rapid Rewards number when swapping out the companion. This wouldn't seem to be a major issue, except that it is creating a new Rapid Rewards number for that person thinking they are new to the program. Because of that I would still call in, or message them via social media, to make your Southwest Companion Pass changes until this gets corrected.

This can be found in your Southwest My Account page once logged into your Southwest Rapid Rewards account.

Thanks to ToP Facebook member Brian M. for pointing this out last night. It makes the program a bit easier to use and keeps the phone lines open for other more pressing needs. If you would like more information on the Southwest Companion Pass then you can check out our full guide here.

It is almost that time of year to lock in two years of BOGO flying after all!
