Book Virgin Voyages With Points
I bring you great news today, news that Virgin Voyages is bookable with points once again. Being able to book Virgin Voyages with points landed on our shores a year or two ago to much fanfare. Then they set sail to never be seen again, until now! I have heard nothing but glowing reviews about this adults only cruise line, and have been tempted to check it out myself. I figured if you have never been on a ship before, better to do it with one of the best. The prices are a bit higher than last time, but with some transfer bonuses we can chip away at that.

You can find these offers in your Virgin Red account under the spend tag at to ToP of the page once logged in. You can link your Virgin Red account to your Virgin Atlantic account if you haven't already too. The prices vary depending on the itinerary and length of cruise. They also are dependent on how close in the booking is etc.
Here are the options to book Virgin Voyages with points that I saw:
- 5 nights in the Caribbean between June & September – 115,000 points
- 7 nights in the Mediterranean flash sale (2 weeks from now) – 120,000 points
- 7 nights in the Mediterranean between May and October – 160,000 points
- 14 day cruise from Barcelona to Miami – 280,000 points
- 16 day cruise from Rome to Miami – 320,000 points
The bookings are per cabin, so for one or two people. That is a pretty good value for your Virgin Red points. Especially if you use a transfer bonus…

Discounting The Virgin Voyage Points Price With A Transfer Bonus
I am guessing many people don't have 100,000+ points sitting in their Virgin account. That means you will likely need to transfer points in to book your cruise from one of Virgin's transfer partners. If you took advantage of the Capital One to Virgin transfer bonus before it ended last night, then you had some amazing timing. If you didn't speculatively transfer then (good job!) then you still have a chance with a new Chase transfer bonus that launched today. American Express still has one for a few more weeks too. Check the details on both offers here.
Those offers will give you 30% – 40% more miles when you transfer over, which in turn lowers the cost of these Virgin Voyages. That would drop the lowest package into the 89,000 – 83,000 point range depending on which transfer bonus you use. That is an amazing deal for two people on one of the better cruise lines out there.
