Wireless Bill Amex Offer

There is a new wireless bill Amex Offer that will be very interesting to people. This might be the easiest $90 you have ever earned! It should be one of the easier Amex Offers for people to fully trigger at least. The downside is the charge to trigger it might be above many people's cell phone bills, but we can work around that. Let's take a look at the details.

If you need more info on the Amex Offers program, then be sure to check out our complete guide.

Maximizing This Offer

In the opening paragraph I brought up a possible issue for people that don't have $150 a month cell phone bills. The good news is that they give you a long time to get this thing done. If you include paying your wireless bill in February, that gives you 7 months of payments in total. To hit the maximum of $900 in cell phone service spend you would need to spend $129 a month per month. You can do this since it says 1+ purchases in the offer. That drops it down a little bit, but not by much.

I would pay your bill normally until you get to early August. At that point I would put the remaining balance left to hit the required $900 total. This will give you a negative balance on your cell phone account for a bit, but you would maximize the offer. If your bill is pretty small overall, then maybe just do enough to trigger the next $150 in spend (or two). Lining it up to trigger the next credit or two perfectly is the best way to get the most you can at that point.

Wireless Bill Amex Offer: ToP Thoughts

I usually skip over offers that require you to use it over several months / payments, since it isn't worth the effort setting up a new automatic billing etc. Then remembering to change it back later is a real pain in the butt. Another thing to consider is will you be giving up better earning with another card or lose out on cell phone protection. If both of those things are some what of a wash, then this gives you a chance to get 10% off your wireless bill for a while thanks to this Amex Offer. It is just good enough to get me to do it, but it is close.
