I do think we need some protections on our accounts since these are a currency that is sometimes taxed (via bank bonuses and referrals). But, I am not sure I want the government mandating more transparency on values of the miles or anything because that will lead to static valuations etc. I guess you could say I am torn on this. That is if it is anything more than election time fodder.
