QSuites Award Availability May 2025

Early planners rejoice! Qatar Airways has released lots of award availability on their famous QSuites business class for May 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity, especially given how stingy Qatar has been with award availability for the last several months. Below we share the details of QSuites Award Availability and how you can take advantage of an ongoing transfer bonus to book this even cheaper.

QSuites Award Space Available

Qatar's award calendar is open through about two-thirds of the month of May 2025 and there is a lot of QSuites availability for that month out of the US. I saw lots of award space out of many US gateways, including:

New York (JFK)
Miami (MIA)
Atlanta (ATL)
Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW)
Chicago (ORD).

I managed to book my family of three in the same flight. There was also space for as many as four travelers on some flights.

Qatar released lots of award space onwards from Doha as well. I saw lots of availability onwards to:

Tokyo (NRT)
Osaka (KIX)
Seoul (ICN)
Bali (DPS)

I wouldn't be surprised if folks find space to other far flung destinations. If you're looking to travel somewhere in May 2025 that has Qatar Airways service, give it a shot!

How to Book QSuites Awards

I found the vast majority of award availability directly on Qatar's website. British Airways also showed some, but Qatar's website was definitely showing more space. In this regard, Qatar Airways opens its award calendar earlier than many of its partners, including British Airways.

Qatar Avios are very easy to earn. Not only is Qatar a transfer partner with Capital One and Citi, but you can also transfer Avios from British Airways or Iberia to Qatar. (To transfer from Iberia, you must first transfer to British Airways.) This means you can transfer points from any major bank and turn them into Qatar Avios!

Cost To Book QSuites

Awards from the US to Doha cost 70,000 Avios one-way You can use Qatar's award calculator to check the cost of awards. This is particularly helpful when connecting onwards. If you're continuing on to the Maldives, Qatar charges 85,000 Avios. QSuites to East or Southeast Asia cost 100,000 Avios.

Lastly, don't forget about the ongoing 30% transfer bonus from Citi (through May 31, 2024)! The 30% bonus is from Qatar Airways and is not shown on Citi's website. I transferred from Citi this morning and the miles posted instantly (including the 30% bonus).

QSuites Award Availability May 2025: ToP Thoughts

The early bird gets the worm. If you're already planning travel for May 2025, get to it! These seats won't last long! Stacking a Citi transfer bonus makes these flights even cheaper if you have ThankYou Points to use.
