Bank of America Golf With Us

There is a pretty cool program going on right now, called Bank of America golf with us, where kids can golf for $5 or less at thousands of courses. The best part? It doesn't look like you even need to be a Bank of America customer to take advantage of it. That is a bit different from their very popular Museums On Us program. My guess is because this is targeted towards kids aged 6-18.

Program Details

Here are the details for the Bank of America Golf With Us / Youth On Course according to their website:

For a limited time, Bank of America invites kids 6–18 to Golf with Us through a free one-year membership to Youth on Course, giving them access to tee times for $5 or less at thousands of courses. Together, we’re helping more communities find out what’s possible, in golf and in life.

It should be noted that this offer expires either once 75,000 new Youth on Course memberships have been granted or on May 24, 2025. When we signed up last week I think they were around 25,000 sign ups, so there should be plenty of space left right now.

They boast over 2,000 golf courses enrolled in the program. I also noticed a driving range near our house was listed in the app too. It offered discounted buckets of balls instead of discounted greens fees. Each course seems to have their own unique rules on when this will work. Different days, times and even rules on walking only or not will be listed when you select the course. Be sure to look closely at the rules for the course you are interested in to ensure everything will go smoothly.

My Personal Experience

I signed up my son for the program and it seemed to be pretty seamless. We haven't tried it out in the wild as of yet, but they send you a link to download the Youth On Course app. You will also receive an email with your login info, including a temporary password, so look out for that. Once you log in it will have you set up your own unique password to use going forward. You will also be sent an email to sign up for a GHIN account (the Golf Handicap & Information Network) for your child. This is not required to take part in the Bank of America Golf With Us program.

Once you are in the Youth On Course app you can search courses and ranges in your area, or any other area you may be in. They will give you a list or map view of courses within your search parameters. Once you click on a course you can review the rules for booking and cost for your child to play. Some courses will have a book now button to set up a tee time, while others will require you to call the course. You can also pull up your child's membership card in the app too. There is a member number, which I assume will be needed when golfing at a participating course.

Bank of America Golf With Us: ToP Thoughts

This is a great way to get your kids into golf at a very affordable rate. While you will have to pay full price to golf with them, it is essentially a BOGO offer. If they are on the older side of the age spectrum then they should be able to golf alone, or with their friends. I don't see any requirements on having a person golfing with them at the regular rate.
