15% Off IHG Award Stays

There is a new 15% off IHG awards stays promotion that many people will find of interest. It looks like IHG credit cardholders are getting emails for early access and elites are too. This is a pretty good deal if you had an award stay planned during the promo. It could even be worth checking to rebook some current stays you have.

Details for the IHG Award Stays Sale

Here are the details for the offer. Notice the timeline so you don't mess up and cost yourself some points.

Get a 15% discount off the number of points needed for an award stay.
- If using Points & Cash, the 15% discount will be applied to the cash portion of each available option.
The reward nights must be booked by October 30, 2024.
The stay needs to occur by November 30, 2024 to qualify for the offer.
The Offer is not available to use along with the “Fourth Reward Night Free” cardmember benefit when booking a stay of four (4) or more consecutive Reward Nights.
The Offer will be applied for eligible cardmembers booking three (3) or fewer consecutive Reward Nights.

15% Off IHG Award Stays: ToP Thoughts

What I am not sure is if this discount helps with free night certificates or not. I know it has in the past, but I don't have one in my account to check it. With other promotions if the 15% discount dropped it below 40K a night then a certificate was now available for use. I am seeing discounted award prices on my searches during the time frame so it is already live.
