ToP Roundup

In this series I will share articles I found interesting from all over the web. These will be articles about miles, points, travel, finance and everything in-between. Hopefully this ToP Roundup series will give you some interesting tidbits and new information you may have missed during the week. If you see anything out there that you think others may find of interest please feel free to share it with me at Mark@travel-on-points.com.

‘The American Express 1901 Pub’ Pop-Up in NYC, Get Free Drink – Danny the Deal Guru

I need to make it to one of these credit card pop ups sometime. My buddy went to a Sapphire Lounge at the Rocket Mortgage Classic a few years ago and loved it.

Hyatt Switching To Sabre Booking System (Dynamic Awards Coming?) – Doctor of Credit

It is interesting to see that they don't currently have the ability to do dynamic pricing on their current systems. I had not heard that before. It is likely they go fully dynamic at some point but the hope is that takes a while and the points still hold decent value whenever they do.

Office Apocalypse: New Glut City – Curbed

I am surprised to see housing is worth about 30% of what office rentals used to bring. Hopefully some of these abandoned buildings get converted since they need the housing. It is a super interesting read either way.
