Derrick's Plan for 1st Quarter
While Mark's favorite 2023 quarter was Q3 for gas stations, I prefer grocery stores. It is the easiest quarter for us, as $500 per month at grocery stores per Freedom or Freedom Flex card doesn't take much work at all. As it is time for New Years' resolutions, you can also earn 5x on any fitness clubs or gym memberships. I'd double-check any existing members to confirm how they code before switching those charges to a Freedom card. Lastly, most spa treatments should work, but the terms & conditions specifically exclude anything that codes as medical treaments. Personally, I'd just use Freedoms at grocery stores for the sure-fire 5x earnings.
Chase Freedom 1st Quarter Bonus Categories: ToP Thoughts
This should be an easy quarter for most everyone. Although it is not an earth-shattering amount of points, 5x earnings on $1,500 spend means 6,000 bonus points over 1x earnings (and 7,500 points total). There's a reason ToP teammates love to stockpile Freedom cards and it is for easy quarters like 1st quarter 2024!
