Chase DoorDash Credits Extended

Good news for anyone that was wondering if their Chase DoorDash credits were going the way of their Instacart perks. Chase and DoorDash were able to hammer out a new deal, and even brought along some new perks when extending the partnership. Let's take a look at what DoorDash credits you get with each of your Chase cards.

Chase DoorDash Credits Breakdown

Here are the details on the continued partnership with Chase and DoorDash. These have been extended until December 31, 2027, so we have some time before we need to worry about them again.

Sapphire Reserve

Here is what you get from DoorDash with your Sapphire Reserve card:

• Free DashPass membership through 12/31/27
• The $5 monthly in app credit will move over to a $5 off restaurant orders starting 2/1/25
• You will now also get 2x $10 credits each calendar month to use on DoorDash for
  • Grocery
  • Convenience
  • Or other non restaurant orders

It is interesting to see them break this out to restaurant credits and non restaurant credits. If you can maximize the new Chase DoorDash credits with your Sapphire Reserve then you should come out ahead of previous years. It would stink if you can no longer roll over a few months, for up to a $15 purchase now though.

Sapphire Preferred (& Regular Sapphire)

Here are the Chase DoorDash credits you get with the Sapphire Preferred card:

• Free DashPass membership through 12/31/27
• You will now also get 1x $10 credit each calendar month to use on DoorDash for
  • Grocery
  • Convenience
  • Or other non restaurant orders

Freedom Flex, Unlimited & Original Freedom, Plus Slate

Here are the Chase DoorDash credits and benefits for the different array of Freedom cards, and the Slate card:

• Cardmembers who have not used the Chase DashPass benefit have until January 31, 2025, to enroll in the current benefit – three months of free membership followed by nine months of discounted DashPass.
• Starting February 1, 2025, new enrollees will receive six free months of DashPass.
• You will now also get 1x $10 credit each quarter to use on DoorDash for

  • Convenience
  • Or other non restaurant orders

DoorDash Card Benefits: ToP Thoughts

It is good to see these Chase DoorDash credits & benefits stick around for at least a few more years. While they won't change the long term value of these credit cards, every little bit helps. Especially if you order from DoorDash often, as the DashPass alone should save you a ton on fees etc. over time.
