There is a new Chase automatic payments bonus going out that can snag you 5,000 points if you are targeted for the offer. It is rare to see bonuses like this coming from Chase, so this is a nice change of pace. That is why we were so surprised to see a decent United upgrade offer from them. This offer is a little more in depth than just flipping a switch though, so let's get into it!

- Make 3 consecutive monthly Chase credit card payments (minimum payment due or more) using your enrolled Chase checking account.
- Earn your 5,000 points — please allow up to 8 weeks after your last consecutive monthly payment for the points to post to your credit card account.
I am not sure if this is only going out to people with a Chase checking account too or not. It could be though, just look at that new Ink Cash offer and you can see they want more banking relationships.
If it is a card you don't normally use you could set up a few automated payments for streaming or membership dues somewhere that are not overly expensive to trigger it. That way you are not missing a ton of points. Or set a calendar reminder to load a few dollars to Amazon etc.
Chase Automatic Payments Bonus: ToP Thoughts
While I don't have automatic payments set up on any of my cards I would get it set up for this bonus. Getting 5,000 Ultimate Rewards points is like getting $75+ in travel for pushing a few buttons. Just make sure you have something charge to the card for 3 cycles if is one you don't normally use it. A set it and forget it bill would be best!
