Book Japan Airways With JetBlue Points
We have some good news to share with you today – that you can now book Japan Airways with JetBlue points! This discovery was first reported by AwardWallet. While I have never been a huge fan of the JetBlue TrueBlue frequent flyer program, they have continued to make strides on improving user's options. Whether it is adding international flights on their own metal, or continued partnership pathways like this one, it has been nice to see. That is especially true if you are sitting on a good stash of JetBlue TrueBlue points.

Here is what was discovered from some flights listed as bookable right now. These may not be the bottom price, or even average price, but we get an idea of what to expect pricing wise thanks to AW.

While the mileage price is not bad, the taxes and fees can be a bit higher. The cost can run a couple hundred dollars per person when flying from the US to Japan for instance. It could still make sense to use JetBlue TrueBlue points to book the Japan Airlines flights if you have a nice stash of them. It could also make sense whenever there is a transfer bonus to JetBlue.
Book Japan Airways With JetBlue Points: ToP Thoughts
It is always good to see new options for using our hard earned miles and points. This addition is no different. It gives you a chance at some outsized value for your TrueBlue points. Especially when they are normally more of a flat rate value tied to the cash price of JetBlue flights. Similar to what Southwest used to be. If you had planned on flying to Japan (or Asia) in the near future then I would take a look. You will likely be able to do better, in terms of value, with other Japan Airlines partners, but that may not matter if you are sitting on a stash of JetBlue points.
