Find Southwest Non Stop Routes
A few weeks ago, ToP Facebook member Lana posted a guide of sorts on how to find Southwest non stop routes. We thought people would found it useful so decided to turn it into an article. We will add some pictures to make it a bit easier on people. Everyone hates flight connections, or at least I do, so this should help you maximize your flying time on Southwest. Thanks again to Lana for sparking this post idea.

ToggleHow To Find Southwest Non Stop Routes
Here is our step by step guide on finding Southwest non stop routes. Non stop flights are routes that go from one airport to another without a connection, or stopping at all, which is called a direct flight.
Step 1: Go To Flight / Hotel / Car / Vacations
When you go to the Southwest website you will want to click this section at the top. It will open up more options. If you click on the same names down below, where you book flights, it will just try to get you to book a new trip. So be sure to grab the link up top.
Step 2: Select Route Map Under Flights
Once you select the Flight / Hotel / Car / Vacations at the top you will be brought to a pop up with multiple options listed out for you. Navigate over to the first list, flights, and go down a little bit until you see route map. You will want to select that.
Step 3: Select View List
The next page will take you to a map and you can search certain routes etc. We don't want that. Select view list in the upper right corner.
Step 4: Search Your Desired Airport
The last step(s) is to select the non stop only box at the top left of the next page. Once you have done that, select the airport you are interested seeing non stop flights to / from and it will populate those to the right. As you can see, Detroit has 9 non stop options on Southwest. They are pretty much all hub / focus cities for Southwest.
I should note that just because you see routes on the list this does not mean it is a daily, or even weekly, thing. These could be showing seasonal options or just Saturday flights etc. It will give you what is possible, but you will need to dig deeper from there to find flight frequencies for the route via some searches.
Non Stop Flights: ToP Thoughts
Hopefully this booking tip from Lana will help you quickly find non stop Southwest flights. It is a great place to start if looking for some easy travel inspiration. Once you are locked onto some routing options you will want to perform flight searches from there. Check each day of the week to see when non stop flights tend to fall on the schedule.
This tip will help you find non stop Southwest flight options but you will still need to do some leg work after that. At least for some of the routes, others will have multiple flights each and every day.
