Southwest Credit Card Spending Offer

There is a new Southwest credit card spending offer that could net you up to 3,000 extra Rapid Rewards points. This one is a bit different since it needs to be located in your Southwest Rapid Rewards account and not via Chase etc. At least that is how it has been located for past offers.

Update 2/13/25: The spending offer is back this year, but at a lower amount versus last year.

Details Of The Offer

Here are the details for the offer:

  • Earn 3,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 on your Rapid Rewards® Credit Card
  • On spending between 2/1-3/31/2025.
  • Must activate first
  • Promo landing page

Earning 3x points is pretty decent, especially if in a non bonus category. That should get you about a 5.2% return on that $1,000 in spend if you value Rapid Rewards points around 1.3 cents per point (including the at least 1x normal earning).

Where To Find The Offer

The best way to find the offer is to log into your Rapid Rewards account on a desktop. Then go down to the promotions section on the lower left hand side and see if you are targeted for the offer.

Southwest Credit Card Spending Offer: ToP Thoughts

This is a pretty decent offer if you have some non bonus spend and value Rapid Rewards points. Especially if you are just shy of earning the Companion Pass and needed to add some spend to your card anyway. Be sure to check your accounts!
