Marriott Fast Track Status
A new Marriott fast track status promotion is kicking off soon that also gives you some bonus points for each and every night. If you value Marriott status then this could be a pretty rewarding promo. If not, then it is less exciting, since 1,000 Marriott points are worth $6 – $7. That will not move any mountains, will it? The other downside is that this offer is available only on paid stays. It could make sense for some road warriors out there, if your company is footing the bill for some stays or if you found some cheap cash prices though.

That last one is a big one, and worth highlighting. If you plan to take advantage of this promotion make sure earning Marriott points is selected in your account instead of airline miles.
Marriott Fast Track Status: ToP Thoughts
This Marriott fast track status promotion is what we were hoping for from Hyatt this quarter. Unfortunately they went with just a bonus points earning structure, similar to what Hilton normally does. That shows the difference in the programs though, and the value expected from their status. Where people would fall over themselves for double elite nights for World of Hyatt, it just doesn't mean much for most when talking about Marriott. That is because most of their status levels just don't offer anything of value and their implementation at hotels is very erratic. It is always welcomed when a hotel chain counts award stays towards these type of double elite night promos too.
Let me know if you are excited for this Marriott fast track status promotion over in the ToP Facebook Group. I would register it even if you don't plan to use it because you just never know what the future holds.
